December 11th

Tiger racing team finished out the 2006 season with the Special Olympics 500 in Harrisburg, PA.
Proceeds from this event are donated to the Special Olympics. We decided to make a weekend of it
and headed to Harrisburg on Friday after school. Once there we headed to ABC West bowling lanes
for a get together. Madison had a blast bowling with her Quarter Midget friends and is already asking
when we can go bowling again. We would like to thank the Bowers for having us at there fine
establishment and for a great time. On Saturday we tried to sleep in but the Tiger was ready to go
early. We took in some of the local attractions in the area and visited Hershey Chocolate world.
Madison again had a great time there. Afterwards we retired to the hotel pool were Madison got to
play and swim with all her friends and dad finally got some relaxing time in the hot tub. Although I’m
not sure how relaxing it was as Set ups and gears for the next days race were the topic of
discussion. All in all it was a blast. Well Sunday morning came way to soon and at 5:00 Am the alarm
clock was going off and we were off to the race. Arriving at the Farm show complex at 6:00 Am we
had to unload everything we would need or possibly need for the race and take it into the complex.
At 7:40 we attended a Drivers meeting and at 8:00 am we were staging in the infield for our heat race.
It was amazing to be standing in the infield and look up at all the seats in the stands. We started 2nd
in the heat race and Madison jumped out to an early lead and lead to the half way point of the race.
Then we had a slight glitch the flagger showed the field the halfway signal (crossed white and
yellow flags). Madison has never seen this indication as its rarely used in Quarter Midget racing. Well
this through her off for a second and the second place car was able to capitalize and move to the
inside and take the lead. Madison battled back but was unable to grab the lead back and finished
second in her heat. In the feature she started second on the outside pole. As the race started she
lost a position as the third place car took the line going into the first turn. After this she waged an
awesome battle with the second place car the entire race to regain the position. She got to the inside
of the second place car almost every lap, but couldn’t complete the pass until the finish line of the
last lap. As the cars came to the checkered she was neck and neck with second place finisher as we
waited for the official ruling from the judges as to who finished second. As the tiger pulled into the
infield the announcer proclaimed the tiger as the second place finisher. What a race! Madison then
went through tech and after tech was awarded her well earned second place finish. After getting her
trophy Madison crossed the track to cheers from her friends. Now that was cool! We would like to
also thank all those who helped us this weekend. Well that’s it for the 2006 season and Novice
racing. Next the Tiger racing team will be heading back out to Harrisburg, Pa to start the 2007
season. During the Motorama event and will be moving up to the JR Honda division. We wish
everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, check back soon for updates 0n our 2007
season.

November 13th
This weekend we attended Blackbird Quarter midget clubs annual Banquet. Madison received a
huge trophy for graduating from Novice school along with other gifts. We had a blast at their event
and want to thank Blackbird Quarter midget club for a great banquet and for inviting us.

November 4th

Madison grabs 4th A Main win of the year during the Season ending Clash in the Pines at South
Jersey Quarter Midget Club. Awesome Job! Awesome Season! What a way to finish out our novice
year. Madison started the heat race from the pole, but lost the lead on the start. The Tiger battled
back after a couple of laps to regain the lead and held on to take the checkered flag. In the A Main
she again started on the pole and again lost the lead on the start. As in the heat after a couple of
circuits she regained the lead until the halfway point were the race was red flagged. The Clash in the
pines is a unique race that during the halfway point the leader draws a card to see how many cars
are inverted if any on the restart. Madison drew a four placing her the leader in fourth place on the
restart. Madison wasted no time getting back to the front and just after a couple of laps was on her
way to the win. Well that wraps up our novice year and the outdoor racing season for 2006. We will
now be making the move to the Junior Honda Division. It will be a whole new ball game, but after
watching the Tiger race the past few months I’m more then sure she’s ready for the challenge. We
will be running one more race before the end of the year, this will be the Special Olympics 500 held
at the Harrisburg Farm show complex on December 10th.  Please keep checking our website during
the upcoming weeks and months for all news about the upcoming 2007 season. 2007 looks to be
another great season as we purchasing a new car for the Junior Honda division. Our old mount will
still see plenty of racing action as it will be our primary asphalt car or if we can work out the finances
for a motor, we will run it as a Junior stock.

October 29th

This weekend we tried asphalt racing for the second time, again we headed to GQMRC in Wall, NJ.
At Garden state they didn't’t have any other unrestricted novices, so they started the Tiger in last
with the restricted novice. This didn't’t work out to well as she lapped the field easily and won the
heat race. The club advised us that we needed to put a red restrictor plate in or wait till the end of the
day and they would give us 5 minutes on the track. I really can’t blame them it was really bad the
difference between the speed of the cars. We decided it was not’t much fun to run on the track by
yourself and changed the plate. The only catch was they put us back to last again in the A Main line
up. After starting last again Maddie worked her way through the field to finish second. Not bad for
the change in plates and only the second time on asphalt. Dad missed the gear set up with the
change in restrictor, but with some awesome driving the Tiger worked her way through. It was a
great time at the track during intermission they had trick or treating for the Kids and a Halloween
parade. Due to a change in racing schedules this week we won’t be heading to Wall for their Turkey
Derby race. Instead we will be racing in South Jersey for their Clash in the pines race on Saturday
11-04-06.  This will mark the end of the outdoor season and the beginning of the indoor season. We
will take a few weeks off and race in Harrisburg, Pa on December 10th.

October 21st

Well that’s racing is all I can say about this weekends racing event at Blackbird. Things didn't’t turn
out as we expected them to, but you can’t win every race. The weekend started out great with a
practice round on Friday night. Madison was quick out of the trailer setting a fast pace with a good
practice the team packed up and waited for morning. Well morning came and things started to fall
apart. The track was redone prior to the days racing and our setup was a little off Madison spun out
after a couple of laps. She got right back to work and made some quick laps. Dad was happy with
the results of the laps and decided to pull her off the track and save the car for the races. Here
comes mistake #1 never tell the Tiger she’s done. Dad told her she was done and here came the
tears. The tiger wanted to practice some more. After explaining to her that the car was good and that
we wanted to get ready for the heat the tears slowed and eventually stopped. Dads got to watch
what he says to his driver! We started on the pole in the heat and Maddie checked out on the field to
a five-car length lead. The only close call came as she was coming to the checkered and in lapped
traffic. Two of the lapped cars came together right in front of here, but she steered her way through
to take the checkered and win her heat. On to the feature were we started second at the start we got
together with the third place car. Madison was pushed sideways down the front stretch, but
recovered going into turn one. She lost several spots during the contact. After getting her rhythm
back she worked her way back into fourth place, but just past halfway the third place and second
place cars came together and Madison had no where to go except into them. This is where it really
got out of hand. Some way some how the judges saw it as she charged into the cars taking them
both out. They sent her to the rear of the field. This was bad although you have to count on the Tiger
to make you smile. When the race director told her that she got the call and had to go to the back,
she told him “Its all right I’m Fast”. Well instead of leaving the track grumpy like dad she went back
out and passed cars and came home with a 6th place finish. What can you do some days you get
the calls some days you don’t its tough on the judging stand, but it still stings especially when you
have a driver and car capable of winning. Well we have to put it behind us and move on to the next
race. Originally we were scheduled to travel to SJQMA for the Clash in the Pines on the 28th, but due
to circumstances beyond their control that race was moved to November 4th. Unfortunately we
registered to race Turkey Derby at Garden state that weekend. Since SJQMA is our home track we
felt it would be wrong not to race their race, so we are going to head there instead of Garden state.
We still plan as of this time to race at Garden state this Sunday the 29th. Dad needs a week off but
the Tiger wants to race so that looks like the plan for now.

October 15th

On the prowl the Tiger scores second win in a row at Blackbird. Madison didn't’t miss a beat after
taking a week off at Blackbird the previous Sunday. She returned to grab her second A Main feature
of the year. Madison started on the pole after the pole sitter was unable to take the green in the heat
race. Madison then lead flag to flag to win her heat race. This set the Tiger up to start on the outside
pole for the A Main. On the start Madison fell back to second behind the leader but after just a couple
laps she dove to the inside of the leader coming out of turn two and the drag race was on going into
turn three. Madison held onto take the lead. Only one yellow flag just past halfway slowed her quest
for another trip to victory lane. The Tiger was on the move after the restart, holding on to the lead all
the way to the checkered.  Watching the Tiger parade around the track with the checkered flag in
hand was just as sweet as the first time. What a season its been watching the Tiger learn to drive in
novice school to now getting two wins in a row at Blackbird. The Tiger racing team will now attempt
to make it three in a row at Blackbird this coming Saturday. As the team competes in the annual
Blackbird Pig Roast.

October 7th

After Rain all day on Friday the race at Sandstone was moved to Saturday night. The rain the day
before made for a wet and rough track. Maddie started 2nd in her heat, but lost a spot on the start.
We are improving each week, but still need to work on our starts they will come with time. Making up
for the bad start Madison went right to work on the car in second place regaining the spot after a
couple of laps. She went on to finish second in the heat. After a few adjustments for the track
conditions we started second in the A Main. Again we fell back on the start but as in the heat the
tiger went back to work regaining the position and setting her sights on the leader. Closing in on the
leader as the laps were winding down the Tiger was on the leaders bumper as the checkered waved,
finishing second. The Friday night season is done at Sandstone so we will be racing at Blackbird for
the next two weeks on Sunday. The only race left on the schedule at Sandstone is the Season
ending Clash in the pines on October 28th. Although the season is winding down things are still
pretty hectic at Tiger Racing Team as this week we will be starting to move into our new shop. We
are also in the process of making plans for the upcoming indoor races and are already starting to
prepare for next season. Come out to the track and catch the Kids in action as the season winds
down. Fall makes a great time to take in a race.

October 2nd

Well with a Friday night off at Sandstone Speedway Tiger Racing team to the opportunity to travel to
Williams Grove speedway for the National open sanctioned by the World of Outlaws. Madison
enjoyed meeting the drivers and even got a few autographs. She especially liked meeting Donny
Schatz again her favorite driver as you can tell by the colors of our car. After the national open with
the race car packed in the back of the truck we cut across country to Little Airport speedway for a
day of racing with the Blackbird Quarter Midget club. After arriving at the track, we draw the third
starting spot for the heat. The Tiger was able to hold on to third at the finish of the heat, putting us
into the A Main. Again we started third in the A Main and after a couple of laps Madison passed the
second place car on the low side coming out of the turn and set her sights on the leader with two
laps remaining and the Tiger on the prowl the 1st place car spun coming off turn two. This put
Madison in the lead for the green, white and checkered restart. As the green flag waved Madison
took off in the lead with a hard charging Renee Parks right on her bumper. Madison was able to hold
on for her 1st A Main win at Blackbird and her second A Main of the season. Way to go Girls
finishing 1 2 in front of the boys! Congratulations Madison on your 1st A main win at Blackbird and
also your 1st unrestricted A Main win. You go Girl! This week if the weather holds out we will be
racing at Sandstone Speedway on Friday night.

September 23rd

On Friday we raced at S.J.Q.MA we started on the outside pole in the heat, but fell back to third on
the opening laps. Maddie held on to finish third at the checkered. The car looked to be down on
power and a look at the tach proved we were down on RPM’s so much for dads experimental gear
set up. After changing gears we started third in the A main. Again the car looked to be sluggish and
lower on power. Everything was going fine until the right front shock broke causing the right front of
the car to bottom out on the track. Madison kept the car going to finish fourth, not bad for a broken
car and again Dads choice in gears was wrong and the car lacked RPM’s. Even with all the problems
Madison did a good job driving the car and we have to put the blame on dad for the weekends
events. All those hours on the car and he misses a bad shock heim. Now if we can only find a
handler who knows what he’s doing to replace dad. This weekend is an off weekend for SJQMA, so
we are going to be heading to Williams Grove to relax and watch the National open. Although a
racing weekend would not be complete with out a Quarter midget race. On Sunday we will be
leaving Williams Grove and heading to Blackbird to race. Thanks for checking the website and hope
to see you at the track.
Note: We had to cancel our trip to GQMRC in Wall, NJ on 10-08-06 due to a family event. However we
still plan to attend Wall as the season winds down. Check the schedule for updates.

September 18th
Friday September 15th we got to race even with the wet weather except for a few showers of and on
the weather was not bad, the track however was rough due to the heavy rain. We started 7th in our
heat race and finished 6th. In the feature we started 6th but fell back to 7th in the final rundown. Not
what we had hoped for but the track was mainly a one-groove track with the roughness. Well at least
we survived and came home in one piece. Sunday we headed to Little Airport speedway in Delaware
for Blackbirds feature winners championship. They had one last chance to win a feature to get into
the feature winners race. We started 6th in our heat race. There were a couple of crashes to avoid
during the race and Madison did a great job avoiding all but one of the close calls. During the race
two cars came together right in front of her and she had to no where to go and caught the right front
bending both the upper and lower front struts and also somehow the left front tie rod cracked and
bent in the collision. Madison brought the car to the hot chute to have the car checked out after
being pushed off from the wreck. The decision was made to go out for a couple of laps and feel the
car out. Well with the lead foot Tiger behind the wheel there’s no time for feeling things out. At the
drop of the green dropped the hammer and passed a car in the last couple of laps left, setting herself
up for a better starting position in the A main. Not a bad driving job with a bent up front end. After the
race the team went to work replacing the bent parts on the car and even had time to set up the front
end to the proper set up. The tiger was ready to be unleashed in the A Main. She started 6th and
through the race worked her way up to 3rd at the checkered. Even though we did not make the
feature winners race it was a good day. Great job driving, the Tiger looked good on starts and
restarts and also ran a good racing line. She looked aggressive as she attacked the competition.
Easy week next week only one show, we will be racing at Sandstone speedway on Friday night the
22nd. In other big news this week for Tiger racing team construction of their new shop began.
Pictures will be forthcoming. Also as the outdoor season begins to wind down Tiger racing is
starting to plan to attend several indoor shows so watch the schedule as indoor shows are added.

September 10th
Friday September 8th Tiger racing team returned to Sandstone speedway after a weekend off due to
the weather. The night started with Maddie starting third in our heat race. Madison continues to
improve each week as she gets use to the new power with the change in restrictor plates. At the end
of the race she moved up two positions to finish third. In the A Main she started third and lost one
position on the start, but battle back on the next lap to regain the position. After that she tried to
make up distance on the 2nd place car, but ran out of laps as the race went flag to flag. Great job on
the track coming home third! Maddie is looking more comfortable out on the track with every lap she
turns and has showed much improvement especially over the last month of racing. Sunday we
made our first asphalt race at Garden state Quarter midget club. Madison spun out during warm ups
for the heat, but was able to continue. After the spin she started 4th in the heat, but was unsure of
the car and fell back to 6th after getting pushed up out of the groove on the restart. After the heat
Madison started 6th in the A Main and was able to work her way up to 5th at the finish. As the A Main
went on she continued to look better and started getting her confidence back. She started running
faster laps comparable to the other cars on the track. All in all it was a good weekend of racing. We
look forward to getting in some more races at wall before the season ends. Up next on the schedule
for Tiger racing is Sandstone speedway on Friday the 15th and Sunday  the 17th we will be heading
back down to Blackbird were it all began.  See you at the track.

September 1st
Tiger Racing Team had a big week this week it started out on Friday August 25th at SJQMA. Madison
made the move to Jr. Novice unrestricted for the nights racing events (This means she runs with a
bigger restricter plate. The same one she will run when she makes the move to Jr. Honda) Madison
performed flawlessly using the Heat race and A main to get used to the new power and speed she
had at her disposal, finishing fourth in the A Main. From there it was off to black bird on Sunday for
the first time with the blue plate. Madison finished second in her heat then went on to finish 5th in
the A main. If that was enough first’s for the week we threw a new track into the mix. On Wednesday
the 30th we headed out to Phoenixville Quarter Midget Club in Phoenixville PA. , to give their track a
try. Everyone at the track was very welcoming and made us feel at home. We started second in the A
Main and came home 3rd not a bad job for the first time at the track. We hope to return there to race
again soon. To top off the great week of racing we headed to Garden state Quarter Midget track in
Wall, NJ to try our hand at asphalt racing for the first time. On Thursday they hosted an open
practice giving us a chance to prepare to race there as the season winds down. Madison headed out
on the track for the 1st practice by herself to get use to the track. Well instead of listening to dads
advice to take it easy the first time out there getting use to the track, soon as the green dropped she
took off like a rocket, running a great racing line and some quick times. She’s just got to make Dad
nervous. The 2nd and 3rd time out she ran with three other cars and was running right with them as
the practice went on she started to pass cars and swap positions back and forth with them. She
states she really likes it out there and is ready to come back and give racing a try. As far as Labor
Day weekend racing Tiger racing team is going to have to spend it in the garage due to Dads work
schedule. Madison will take this time to prepare for the 1st day of Kindergarten on Thursday the 7th.
We will return to the track the next day September 8th at SJQMA and then we will travel to Garden
State Quarter midget club in Wall, NJ on September 10th for our first Asphalt race. Hope to see you
at the track.

August 22nd
Busy weekend for Tiger Racing! The weekend started out with an open practice at    S.J.Q.M.A.. We
had some problems during practice, but were able to get things repaired and got some practice laps
in, all in all the practice appeared to be a success. After a layoff for our vacation we decided to keep
Madison down in the red plate group for one more weekend. On Friday we returned to S.J.Q.M.A. for
some racing action. Madison started on the outside pole in the heat and took the lead on the drop of
the green flag and led everyone except the important one. Madison finished second setting her to
start on the outside of the front row in the A Main. On the start Madison fell in line in second place
and remained there as the race went wire to wire without a hitch. No bad a solid finish to start the
weekend. On Sunday we headed for Little Airport Speedway in Delaware. Madison looked good in
her heat race finishing third right behind the second place car. This set her up to start third in the A
main. The A Main started out well, but the car appeared to slow as the race went on Madison wound
up falling to 6th in the final standings. It was later determined that a failure in the gearbox may have
caused the car to begin to slow. This weekend Tiger Racing will again attempt to run Friday and
again on Sunday. Hope to see you at the track.

August 13th
I have to apologize for my lack of news the past couple of weeks, but everyone at tiger racing has
been very busy. We have had a couple tough weeks although we have had a couple 2nd place
finishes. Plus we just finished a family vacation, we love racing but it sure is refreshing spending a
week in the mountains away from racing. Having said that tiger racing team is all rested and ready to
hit the track again in a big way. The next race Madison will be moving up to an unrestricted class
when she returns to the track. She is excited to be going a little faster in the new class and seems to
be ready for the new challenges. Dad on the other hand is going with a wait and see attitude, but I’m
sure he will be up for the challenge also. We will be starting the weekend with an open practice on
Thursday August 17th at South Jersey to get a feel for the added horsepower and then on Friday the
18th we will be in racing action at South Jersey. If Dad can make it through we will also be heading
to Blackbird on Sunday the 20th. Dads working midnights so if he can muster the strength will be
there, he should be well rested after a vacation. Hope to see you at the track.

JULY 21st
The first of a double header weekend is in the books for Tiger racing. Madison finished 2nd in her
heat race and  was running 2nd in the A Main but fell to third on the final lap.  If the rain holds up will
be heading to Delaware to compete at Little Airport speedway  on Sunday.

JULY 14TH AND 16TH

Tiger racing team again participated in two days of racing this weekend to get Madison as much
track time as possible. The weekend started Friday Night at Sandstone speedway  home of the
South Jersey Quarter Midget Association. In her heat race Madison started on the outside pole but
quickly fell to fourth place were she wound up finishing. Go in backwards is never fun but at least
we were in the A Main. The tiger started fourth in the A main and remained in that position
throughout the race. On Sunday the 16th we traveled down to the Blackbird Quarter midget club in
Delaware. Madison finished 4th in the heat race after getting caught behind a lapped car. After
having a talk with her that she had to start passing cars quicker instead of riding behind them for a
few laps. She was set to start on the Pole in the B Main. This is the last chance race to qualify for the
A main with the top two transferring to the A main. Madison tangled with the outside car on the initial
start, but under Quarter midget rules the call went against the outside car and she was placed up
front again. On the restart Madison checked out and eventually started lapping cars. Taking dads
advice she made the pass quicker not allowing the second place car to catch up to her. Upon
catching a pack of slower cars Madison showed great skill by not forcing the issue and collecting
her first B Main win. Good Job ! This set her up to start 7th in the A main. Madison advanced to fifth
in the final running order. Very good job winning the B and advancing in the A. Madison continues
to show improvement each week and is even now learning how to work on the car. She has taken
over the responsibility of cleaning her own tires after each night of racing and even helps dad
change the motor in the car.  The team will be going for three weekends in a row of double duty this
weekend, running both South Jersey and Blackbird. Com on out and cheer the tiger to the
checkered flag.

JULY 7TH AND 9TH MADISON GRABS HER FIRST A MAIN WIN

Way to go Madison! Friday night at Sandstone speedway Madison grabbed her first A main victory
of her young racing career. The night started out with Madison winning her heat race this set her up
for a pole position starting spot in the A main. As the A main approached the tiger was ready to
pounce on the competition. At the start of the race the second place car was able to get a jump on
Madison as the green flag waved. The tiger struck back on the next lap passing him on the inside as
they went down the straight away.  After having her lead taken away by a caution the tiger was able
to get a good start this time keeping the field in tow. A second caution was waved just a couple of
laps shy of the checkered flag. This time Madison and the second place car dueled it out with
Madison taking 1st place honors. After an impressive victory and celebration the team travel to Little
Airport speedway in Delaware to get a second win. The team finished third in the heat race putting
us fifth in the Amain field. After the start of the A Main Madison was attempting to pass the fourth
place car in turns 1 and 2 , but tangled and both cars came to a stop in the turn. Madison was called
for charging and sent to the rear of the pack on the restart. Madison continued a strong race
finishing 7th. All in all a great weekend of racing. Madison is beginning to become more aggressive
and is looking very comfortable on the race track. The team will again be doing double duty this
weekend running both Sandstone speedway and Blackbird speedway this weekend. Come on out
and catch the Tiger in action.

JULY 2nd   Happy Fourth of July

Tiger racing returned to the track to pick up were they left of  prior to vacation.  We traveled down to
Little Airport speedway on July 2nd for a day of racing. Madison drew the pole position for her Heat
race.  The Race started and she jumped out to a comfortable lead. However as the laps wound down
the second and third place cars gained on her. On the Last lap in turn one the second place car got
under her and the race was on. While 1st and second battled down the back stretch with Madison
on the Outside. The third place car closed in. As they went into turns three and four the third place
car dove under neath both of them making it three wide. Madison kept it going on the outside and as
they crossed the finish line three wide was able to pull off a second place victory. Dad was very
impressed that a five year old would stay in the gas three wide on the outside. Good Job!  Madison
continued the good job in the A Main starting third during the race she looked real good holding her
ground. She wasn't able to advance forward, but  held pace with the leaders and finished third. Not a
bad job for a two week layoff. She showed allot of improvement on restarts and also is learning how
to run the racing line for the fastest way around the track. Next weekend we will be heading back
home to Sandstone Speedway in South Jersey for Friday Night racing. Hope to see you at the track.
Please check our race schedule as a few shows have been added.
June  30th

Tiger racing team is back from vacation and all revved up to hit the track for racing action over the
4th of July weekend. Due to family work commitments we will not be racing at S.J.Q.M.A this Friday.
Instead we will be racing at Little Airport Speedway in New Castle Delaware this weekend. Come out
and watch the Tiger roar at a track near you. Happy Fourth of July!

June  16th

Tiger racing team headed for Sandstone Speedway  in Atco, NJ for a Friday evening racing event.
The Tiger started sixth in her heat race  and finished fifth. This put her in fifth starting position for the
A Main. She worked her way up to fourth in the A Main and thats were  she finished. All in all a very
successful race night. As each week she continues to show that she is learning and getting more
comfortable in the drivers seat. She is also learning quickly about working on the car and all kinds of
things about the race car which has impressed the team with her young age. She is always willing
and asks if she can help work on the car both at the shop and at the track. Tiger racing team will be
taking this week off to enjoy a family vacation.

June  10th and 11th

Thunder storms struck the area on Friday June 9th postponing  racing at Sandstone speedway
until Saturday June 10th. Madison started the Heat race on the pole and led the entire race from start
to finish, collecting her first heat race win of her young career. This set her up to start on the pole in
the A Main. She got of to a great start and led every lap, but the important one,  after getting the white
flag the tiger caught up to lapped traffic, which slowed her down allowing the second place and
third place cars to get by her. She then held on for an impressive third place finish. If we can only get
over our white flag jinx we would be knocking them dead.
Well as victory slipped away the Tiger racing team hit the road on Sunday and traveled down to
Little Airport speedway in New Castle Delaware to Race. Madison looked good and finished third in
her heat this placed her in the third starting spot in the B Main. Madison again showed her talent
finishing third in the B main and securing the seventh starting spot in the A Main. During the A Main
Madison made contact with another  car spun out.!He recovered to finish 6th in the A Main. All in all it
was  a great weekend of racing for the Tiger racing Team. Each weekend Madison has showed
improvement and that she is capable of being a contender in each race that she  enters.  Awesome
job Madison!!! Next race Sandstone speedway in Atco, NJ June 16th 6:30 PM

June 2nd  2006

As storm clouds loomed in the background Tiger Racing Team  head to Sandstone Speedway in
Atco, NJ to try and get a evening of racing in. After arriving the crew found a leaking brake line and
had to make quick repairs. After repairs were made we went out for our Heat race. Madison started
3rd, but fell back as the race progressed eventually finishing 7th. She team decided a gear change
was needed to help Madison get around the track quicker. The team began to make the gear
change, but lighting moved in around the track. A decision was made by club members for the
safety of the fans and competitors that it would be best to declare the event over and to consider the
heat races as features. The team then head home to the shop to figure out how to get more speed
out of the car. This weekend Tiger racing Team will attempt double duty once again by Racing at
Sandstone Speedway on Friday June 9th  and then heading on the road to Blackbird  Quarter
midget club in New Castle, Delaware on June 11th. Come out and catch the Tiger if you can!!!

Memorial Day Weekend  Region  2 Dirt States Race

Heart breaking weekend for Tiger Racing Team. The weekend started Friday morning when the team
arrived at Blackbird Quarter midget club to prepare for an assault on the Jr. Novice division States
race. The day started out with rain but the sun would soon prevail and the track crews were able to
prepare the track to get one round of practice in. Maddie hit the track and let everybody know she
was ready to go by turning some good laps. After practice the team prepared the car for Time trials
which were scheduled for Saturday Morning.
When teams arrived at the track on Saturday morning a decision was made by track staff to allow
teams one more round of practice prior to time trials. Again Maddie went out and showed everyone
she was ready to take a run at the fast time for the Jr. Novice division. Madison did just that by
setting a blistering lap around the speedway of 9.5125 seconds placing her fifth in time. Way to go
Madison! The top four in time automatically advanced to the A main and the remaining cars must
advance to the A main through lower mains ( B,C,D ). Having missed an automatic spot in the A Main
through time by one position the  Tiger racing team began to prepare  the car for the for the B main.
Once the line ups for the B main were posted it was learned that the top four times in the B Main
would be inverted. Since Madison had the fastest time of the B main cars this meant she would have
to start from the fourth position in the B Main with the top four from the C Main falling in behind her.
Sunday  morning, time for the B Main ( top four transfer to the A Main ) and heart break.  During the
20 lap B Main Madison lost a couple of positions in the beginning laps falling back to 6 Th's place.
As the race progressed she worked her way  up to third with two laps to go.  A red flag came out for
two cars involved in a collision on the front stretch setting up a green, white and checkered restart.
As the green flag waved with two laps to go Madison's car bobbled on the start allowing three cars
to get by her. In the end Madison finished 6th and did not make the A Main.
Even with the loss with two laps remaining Tiger racing team is proud of Madison's performance in
such a big racing event.  Timing fifth and finishing 6th in the B Main was an awesome accomplish
meant for the up and coming driver. It's not easy competing against kids from all different tracks in
region two especially when its only the fourth racing event of your career. Good job Madison you
showed everyone that you will be a force to be reckoned with on the Quarter midget tracks of the
area. Next Race Friday  June 2nd at Sandstone Speedway in Atco, NJ  YOU GO GIRL !!!!!!!!!!!  GOOD
JOB!!!!!!!

May 19th and 21st

Busy weekend for the Tiger racing team. We started the weekend off on Friday night at Sandstone
speedway were Maddie finished 3rd in her A Main. She  even more excited when she received her
first racing trophy for finishing 3rd in the A main. All the members of Tiger racing were proud of her
performance on the track and look forward to improving on our  3rd place finish and many more
trophies.  On Sunday after having success on Friday night Tiger racing team ventured south of the
border for our first race at Blackbird Quarter Midget club in New Castle Delaware.  Maddie really likes
this track as this is where she turned her first laps in a race car during novice school. Again Maddie
performed flawlessly coming home  5th in her A Main. She so much improvement  over the
weekends racing events and showed she is willing to listen and learn about how to drive a race car.
Her Mom and Dad and other family Members could not be prouder of her performance both on and
off the track. Tiger Racing is looking forward to another big weekend of racing as we will again be
traveling south to Delaware to take part in the region 2 Dirt States race over the Memorial Day
weekend. Good Luck Maddie

Sandstone Speedway home of The South Jersey Quarter Midget Association. This will be a special
day for Madison as she will also celebrate her Fifth birthday on this day. All The members of Tiger
Racing would also like to thank the members of Blackbird Quarter Midget club for allowing us to

possible. We also like to congratulate the other members of the novice class on a job well done and
