All I can say is Awesome! The Tiger makes it a clean sweep in Harrisburg indoors by winning the
Jr Stock and Jr Honda A Mains. She made us sweat in the Jr Stock by shadowing the leader until
3 laps to go before making a move to the inside coming out of three to take the lead and win the
race. In Jr Honda she fell back to second from last on the outside on the 1st lap then worked her
way back to the front. She then took advantage of a slip by the leader to take the lead. After
holding off the field for several restarts with two to go the Tiger took her second victory of the
day.

December 20th, 2007
The 2008 racing season has come to an end. On the 16th we traveled to Harrisburg, Pa to
participate in the Special Olympics 500 hosted by the Norlebco Quarter Midget club. Although
the weather outside was frightful, the racing inside was great. The tiger started 4th in her Jr.
Honda heat race and finished 2nd. In the Jr. Stock Heat she started 9th and finished 5th.  Both
cars were really loose in the heats on the dry slick track, the Tiger had her hands full just
keeping the car from spinning as she accelerated. We made changes to both cars and hoped
for the best. In the features the Tiger started 2nd in Jr. Honda and spun out just a couple of laps
into the race. She came back and finished second in the feature. The car was still very loose
and she was driving on the edge the entire race. In the Jr. Stock feature she started 5th and
worked her way into third after a couple of laps. However she drifted high in the turns and fell
back in the pack again. As the laps wound down she fought her way back to 2nd where she
crossed the checker flag.  It was a great day for Tiger Racing team. We wish everyone a Merry
Christmas and a happy New Year and hope to be back at the track in early January.

December 12th, 2007
Well this weekend we achieved a couple of goals we set for ourselves this season. The first was
to race in 50 Quarter Midget events this season. The second was to make the trip to Columbus,
Ohio to race in the Indoor winter nationals.  It was a long trip out to Ohio and I have to admit as
we reached the 500 mile mark on the road I started to have my doubts if I would ever make the
trip again. Once we got unloaded and the cars hit the track I was hooked and we are ready to
make the trip back out January 12th to open up our 2008 Season. I couldn't’t think of a better
track to open the season, the racing was exciting and fast. I was amazed at how quickly the cars
lapped the indoor track. The Tiger had a blast and not one time did she hesitate or think about
competing at the fast pace. Before the day was over she was asking if we could race there again.
In Jr. Honda we started 5th and finished 4th in the heat race and this placed us in the B main
starting 6th. After the heat we talked over the cars performance and made the decision to
tighten the car up and make a gear change. WRONG MOVE! The car was way too tight in the
feature and the tiger dropped back after an early surge. During the long ride home and
sometime to think tightening the car was the wrong way to go and a better handler would have
known it right away so we learned as a team. Unfortunately I made that mistake before this
season and taken the car away from the Tiger.
In Jr Stock we started 6th and finished 6th in our heat, with only eleven cars signed in to race Jr.
Stock all cars made the A main. This time we adjusted the chassis the right way and made a
better gear choice.  At the start we had some problems getting the car to fire, malfunctioning
switch operator. After a lot of exhaustion we got it fired and the race was on. During the race we
tangled with a couple of cars and slid back. The leaders caught us and put us a lap down, but I
was impressed with the Tiger she hopped on the leaders bumper and ran with him for a couple
of laps, with only a few laps left  she tangled with a car ending our race.
This weekend we will be making our final appearance of 2007 at the Special Olympics 500 in
Harrisburg, Pa.

November 28th 2007
We were planning to attend the Special Olympics 500 in Harrisburg,PA on December 9th, due to
complications with the venue the event has been postponed until December 16th. Already
having the time off scheduled, we are thinking about heading out to Ohio to participate in their
December 8th indoor event. Stay tuned for further details.
November 6th 2007
The 2007 outdoor season has come to an end. What will we do for our racing fix for the next 4
months? I’m sure we will keep ourselves very busy at Tiger racing. We plan to travel to the two
indoor shows at Harrisburg over the winter and also would like to hit a couple of the shows out in
Columbus, Ohio after the beginning of the New Year. We want to thank all those who helped
make 2007 a great season although we didn’t collect many wins in the Jr. Honda division the
Tiger started coming on strong toward the end of the season and had some great runs on both
asphalt and dirt. We made a lot of changes in the middle of the season which took some time for
both the driver and handler to get used to, but all in all I think it was a very good first year in JR
Honda.  As for the JR stock once we got things going we were on a roll. It’s been a blast running
that car and we hope next year the car numbers will grow and we will have many more cars to
compete against.  I think we had 18 wins in the division. However we didn't’t have many cars in
the class sometimes only 2 or 3, the most were 4. But in my book a win is a win you still had to
beat somebody and to be able to do that you had to be on top your game as the completion was
tough.
Most all we would like to thank the following people for their help during the season: Mueller
motorsports for all their help. Stinger chassis for providing a great chassis and setup help during
the season. A Main motors for their awesome Honda power for our Jr Honda cars. Lederer
motors for the awesome Deco motor for our Jr Stock. We would also like to thank the members
of South Jersey for all there help during the season. We especially want to thank the members
of Blackbird, Phoenixville and Garden state for making us feel at home and welcome at your
clubs.
As for next year we plan to tear the cars down and rebuild them in preparation for an assault on
the 2008 Jr Honda division and Jr Stock division. In exciting news for 2008 we plan to run a third
division in selected events in 2008. Tiger racing will add another car to our stable and compete
in the light mod division along with the Jr Honda and Jr. Stock division in selected events during
the 2008 season as soon as the Tiger turns 7.  Tiger racing also plans to compete at a national
level in 2008 by attending at least one of the 2008 Grands events. Please check the site for
upcoming news and have a safe and enjoyable holiday season.

September 24th 2007
Well the month of September has been up and down. We've had some good runs in Jr Honda,
but then we've had some poor runs. We just can't seem to put a string  of good runs together.
We changed our direction on our chassis set up for the Jr Honda and our runs seem to be
getting better, so we will keep tweaking the set up till we get the Tiger another victory. As for the
Jr stock the Tigers been on fire since August. Even though we only run against a couple of cars
it's good competition and the wins help sooth the woes of the Jr Honda. Big weekend this
weekend we are going to try and run three race events at three different tracks in three days.

September 6th 2007
Today was the first day of 1st grade for the Tiger! Exciting but sad at the same time no more
Wednesday night races at Phoenixville. We had a blast racing there this year, we even scored
our first Jr Honda win at the track. Last week we only raced once. I was lost not racing more then
one day a week, but we got to catch up on some stuff in the team shop. We traveled down to
Blackbird for their Saturday night under the lights show. The tiger finished 2nd in her heat lead
all the laps, but the important one. A lapped car caught the wall in front of her causing her to
slow and the second place car got her on the last lap. In the feature she got a call and got sent
to the rear, she came back to finish 6th.  In the JR stock she won her heat and the A Main. She
was really cooking in the JR stock and turned some of her quickest times. Back to double duty
this weekend as we run SJQMA on Friday and BQMRC on Sunday.
August 19th 2007
Wow! Where did the summer go it's already the end of August and we are planning our fall race
schedule. I think we are going to fall short of my 50 race date plan for this year, but will try to get
as many in as possible.  We hope to hit a lot of indoor races this winter when the outdoor
season ends.  We are real proud  of the Tiger as she has continued to show improvement each
week and is proving that once again she's on the prowl. We had a great time at SJQMA when we
sponsored a race in Grandpa Boyd's memory it was nice to hear all the nice things that were
said about him and to walk down memory lane with all the times people remember about him. We
didn't do as well as we wanted to in Jr. Honda, however we did win the D Main and the Jr Stock
race. We got to bring home purple trophies in his memory. That was cool! We would like to
thank everyone for their kind words and especially Bill Schenk for his thought during the
handlers meeting. This month has been up and down we won a couple of lower mains and last
week we won our first JR Honda A Main at Phoenixville on Wednesday. Way to go Tiger! We
knew you could do it! We've been spending allot of time on details with the new car and it seems
to be paying off. The Tiger is starting to look allot more comfortable in the new car and is
gaining her confidence back. We also ran Garden State and made the A main again. This time
the car looked allot better then our asphalt run in July. She was able to keep all four tires on the
ground. We still need to find some speed on asphalt run with the top dogs. We have some ideas
and hope to give it a try this weekend. So stop back and see whats knew at Tiger racing.
July 29th, 2007
Nothing worse then rain on a race day. Today we were all set to head to Blackbird thankfully we
checked with the track just prior to leaving and discovered they were canceling todays event
due to weather. So we will get to watch a cup race on TV for once and follow the results of the
eastern grands on the computer. A double negative rain and were not at the grands racing. We
hope to run either the Dirt grands or the Eastern Grands next year to start getting the tiger
some national experience. Well anyway the rain gives us a chance to catch our friends up with
whats going on a Tiger Racing and also time to clean the shop which was needed  badly. I would
like  to say by now that we got our first Jr Honda win or even that we are finishing in the top three
each week, but that hasn't been the results. We are still struggling to qualify for the A Mains at
each event. We did have some bright spots and a couple of good finishes, but we haven't been
consistent. I really don't know the answers but we are determined to keep digging. We decided
to continue going back to basic that we ran earlier in the year and last year, like springs and
gear combinations. One thing  we want to work on is getting the Tiger a little more fired up and
aggressive during the races. I also want to keep the changes to a minimum to let her get her
groove back.  We are also trying to take advantage of as much track time as possible to get
better. I have allot of confidence in our little driver and know she will get it to victory lane soon.
We ventured back to asphalt during the month for some asphalt racing with the old car and
made the A Main. She did a great job driving an ill handling car thanks to dad's set up. We hope
to get back there in a couple of weeks. This weekend we are looking forward to doing allot of
racing. We will head to Phoenixville on Wednesday, then Friday at  South Jersey we will be
sponsoring the race night in memory of Grandpa Boyd. We have realized this season what an
important role he played on our racing team. Especially in our research department, if we had a
problem we send him out around the pit area and with his gift of gab, he would always come
back with an answer. We are determined to keep what he started alive and get some wins in his
memory and really look forward to saluting  his memory this weekend. After Friday we will go for
a three day race weekend by traveling back to phoenix vile for a Saturday show, then on
Sunday we will head down to Blackbird to wrap up the weekend. So come on out to the track and
pull for a little tiger as she zooms around the track.
July 11th, 2007
Well its been a rough go the past month and haven't had much to talk about except for a few
good runs here and there. We have not been performing up to our expectations we Debuted the
new car back in the early part of June and were having a hard time getting the right balance on
the car. After spending time trying to figure the new  setup out, we decided to go back in our
notebook and look at what has worked in the past. We did that the weekend of the 6th and had
a pretty good showing finishing third in the A Main. So hopefully the future will be brighter. We
also had to take a day off from racing last week for a family members passing and our hearts
and prayers are with them. This weekend we hope to get back to racing twice a week with an
appearance at SJQMA on Friday night and we plan to dust the old car off and take it to Garden
State on Sunday for some asphalt racing. The JR stock has been sidelined recently due to a
busy schedule away from the race track, but we hope to have back in action soon. I hope to
keep up the web page and let you know whats happening at Tiger racing, see you at the track.
June 7, 2007

It’s ready to sting our new 2007 Stinger is complete and ready to sting the competition on the
track. We will be debut the new car Friday at Atco and on Sunday at Blackbird. Check out
photos of the new car on the home page and the photo page

June 3, 2007

It’s been a very busy month of May and we have been a little behind in updating the news
section. So in this news report we are going to try and recap the month of May to keep you up to
date. During the month of May we traveled between South Jersey, Phoenixville and Delaware
racing.  It was a long month for the team, the move to Jr Honda has been very tough. The
competition is twice as tough and a tenth of a second left on the track seems to hurt you a lot
more. At South Jersey we have been able to make the Jr Honda A Main in each week and came
home with one top 3 during the Month. However we have been unable to get into the A Main at
Blackbird or Phoenixville. At Blackbird we transferred out of the C Main, but came up short in the
B Main. At Phoenixville we didn't’t make it out of the B Main the first time and then had trouble in
the C Main the next week. During The States Race at Phoenixville we timed 15th fastest with a
9.033, not as good as we should have thanks to a poor gear decision by dad. We however
finished 3rd in the D Main then 4th in the C Main to transfer to the B Main. During the B Main a
poor tire selection hampered us to an 8th place finish. This weekend at SJQMA we had to come
from the B Main to make the A Main again after attempts by dad to gain a little edge on the
competition failed resulting in a 4th place Heat finish. During the B we nearly flipped and had to
work our way back into a transfer position, thanks to a timely caution. During the A Main we had
nothing for the competition and settled into a 7th place finish. As for the JR Stocker side of
things it just has been a learning experience. We timed 2nd fast at the States race, but just need
to continue running the car and gain
experience.
On a Brighter side the team hopes to debut our new Stinger chassis at South Jersey and
Blackbird this upcoming weekend. We are taking Sunday June 3rd off from Blackbird to allow
more time to prepare the car for its debut and give the team a well-needed rest after the states
race and a trying month of May. Hopefully the new car will help turn the teams luck around.
Thanks for checking our website and hope to see you at the track.

April 29th 2007
0ne out of two race dates for the weekend is better then no racing. Wet weather forced the
postponement of SJQMA racing action from Friday to Saturday. Unfortunately this forced us to
miss opening night action due to our work schedule. Once the cancellation was confirmed the
team started planning and changing the cars around to run asphalt at Garden State on Sunday.
The decision was also made due to the rain out to debut the stocker on asphalt. Well the day
started out at Garden State with a round of practice. Unfortunately as we pushed the Stocker up
for practice we realized the change to asphalt set up and tires reduced the turning radius of the
car and the team was forced to make changes to the set up and practiced was missed. We were
able to get some good laps in the JR Honda car. We started on the pole in the both the JR
Honda and JR Stock and fell back to third in both heat races. In the JR stock feature we lead for
a little while before making contact with another car damaging the steering and forcing us out of
the event. In the JR Honda A Main we again tangled with another car pushing the RR into the
struts, however she held on to finish third. Dad has to spend a little more time working on a
better setup for the cars on asphalt. This weekend we will again be trying for two race dates in
both the JR Honda and JR Stock. On Friday we plan to race at SJQMA and then make the trip to
Phoenixville on Saturday. Hope for dry weather!

April 24th 2007

Hopefully the weather will hold out for this Friday night and we will be able to get some racing.
The team has two mounts ready for action this Friday at South Jersey We will be racing in the JR
Honda class with the same mount that took us to Victory at the season ending clash in the pines.
After Friday night the team will return to the shop and begin changing that car around to run
Garden State on Sunday. We have also completed the finishing touches on our JR stock car so
that car will see action at South Jersey on Friday also. Due to the work involved in changing the
cars from asphalt to dirt we will only be competing in the Jr Honda division at Garden State for
now. Hope it stays dry and we see you at the track.

April 20th 2007
Recent bad weather continues to keep Tiger racing team off the track. As of right now it looks
like we will be unable to travel to Garden State Quarter midget club to compete on the 22nd, due
to our prior commitments to our Home club. Due to bad track conditions caused by recent heavy
rain South Jersey is forced to Move Saturdays activities to Sunday. We now plan to open the
outdoor season Friday night at South Jersey. Please check back for any changes.

April 15th 2007

The winner is RAIN! Our hopes to open up our outdoor season a Garden state this weekend
were washed away by rain. This will push our first event to next Sunday the 22nd at Garden
State. Although we didn't get any racing in over the weekend we did get some practice laps in at
Garden State on Friday. The Tiger looked great on the track and turned some pretty good laps.
As for next weekend we are undecided at this point if we will run the open practice on Saturday
at South Jersey since the car is already ready to go for Garden State. We will have to see how
the week plays out. The team is still working hard to prepare the other two cars for action and
hope to be ready for SJQMA opening day on the 27th of April. If we don’t run second to the
weather next week we hope see you at the track.

APRIL 6th 2006

To start with I have to apologize to our Tiger racing friends and family. I failed to update the site
in reference to last weeks race scheduled at Garden State. Prior commitments to our home club
of South Jersey and the need to spend more time in the shop preparing the cars for the
upcoming season forced us to sit out the event. However we are still hoping to keep with the
schedule planned and open our outdoor season at Wall on the 15th of April.
So with that expressed a lot exciting things have been going on at Tiger racing. We have
completed the deal on a Jr. Stock motor through Ledderer Motors in PA. So we will be running
both Jr. Honda and Jr. Stock each and every week on Dirt. Our stable of cars is also growing
over the off-season. As mentioned earlier a Brand new 2007 Stinger chassis was purchased for
an assault on the local dirt tracks in the Jr. Honda division. After completing the deal on the
stocker the team went out and purchased an older Stinger chassis to be run in the Jr. Stock
division. This will allow us to concentrate on Dirt with our Stinger Chassis program. Our old trusty
Butler mount will not get packed away in storage; this will become our asphalt car. Having three
cars will allow us to keep a car set up strictly for asphalt. No more late nights changing the
springs, shocks, tires and chassis setup to head off for a day of asphalt racing, after a night of
dirt racing. This will also help in keeping the set ups consistent each week. Having all these last
minute changes has forced us to burn the Midnight oil at the teams shop. The older 2003
stinger chassis is currently stripped down to the bare chassis. Every inch of the car has been
gone over and the Stocker motor has been mocked up. The plan is to get the body into the
paint room this week and begin reassembling the components. Hopefully we will be able to debut
this car in the second test and tune practice at S.J.Q.M.A. On April 21st. We are also working
hard to prepare the New Stinger chassis for the JR. Honda division. As for the Butler it’s ready to
go for another season except for a motor. We hope to drop the motor for this car off to get
freshened at A main this week, until then we will run the motor for the new Stinger in this car. We
hope to see you at the track soon and will try to take a break in the shop to keep you up to date
with whets happening.

February 24th 2007

Awesome job Tiger!!!! Well this weekend we headed to Harrisburg, PA for the annual Motorama
show and race event. During the event we also made our Junior Honda Debut. This was the
Tigers first time racing on concrete. It was great to get back to racing and we cant wait for the
actual season to start it made us at least think about a trip to the indoor show in Ohio this
weekend, but we decided to save that for next year. We arrived at the track on Saturday and
began the day with a round of practice. It was good to see a lot of our friends from the racetrack.
After practice was complete we took part in Time trials to set track records. Once time trials were
set we lined up for heat races and the Tiger went to work winning her heat race. There were 39
JR Hondas signed up to race with allot of stiff competition. Winning the heat race automatically
put us in the A Main. Good job Tiger we are all very proud of you!! After the completion of the
heat we were done for the day. On Sunday we arrived at the track to help our friends and
prepare the car for the A Main later that afternoon. The fast timer and heat race winners got to
draw for starting spots in the A main with the rest of the field being assigned per their finish in
the lower mains. The luck continued with the draw and the tiger pulled the pole position for the A
main. At the start of the race she survived a couple of restarts before she got pushed up out of
the groove and fell backwards. During the race she got into a couple of tangles bending the
radius arms and steering arms on the car, this made the steering very hard. The Tiger held onto
finish 7th in the event. Overall a very good weekend of racing. As for the upcoming season our
plans are a little tentative right now. We are currently completing a deal to get a Stoker motor so
we can also run the JR Stock class along with JR Honda this year. Our previous plan was to
keep the old car for asphalt, but with the stocker motor we will make the older car our JR stock
car. We still plan to run some asphalt races this year, but we will have to wait and see how it all
shakes out.  As of right now our next race will be the Garden State Classic at Wall, the weekend
of March 31st.

January 20th 2007

Wow! The 2007 racing season is just around the corner. I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays.
Tiger racing team is very excited and ready to begin the 2007 season as we dedicate this
Season to Grandpa Boyd with the Salute to Grandpa Tour. Grandpa was the driving force
behind our team and it will be tough continuing in his absence, but we know he would want us to
move on. So with that in mind, we plan to salute his memory all season long and many seasons
to come.
Tiger racing has a very busy and exciting 2007 season planned. The schedule for February to
August has been posted on the
schedule page with an overall tentative schedule including over
50 racing events with possibly more added as the season progresses. We plan to race in three
states this year from dirt tracks to asphalt tracks. Not only are we planning on racing more this
year we are also making the move to the JR Honda division from the JR Novice division. The
Tiger racing team has been working hard in the off-season to prepare for the upcoming season.
The team had to pick up the pace over the last couple of weeks to prepare last years car to be
shown in the SJQMA display at Motor sports 2007. The car was completely taken apart and
cleaned, many of the body panels were repainted and everything was checked and
reassembled. We had a blast displaying the car at the show and met many great racing friends.
Also in the exciting news for 2007 we are awaiting the arrival of our second car. We are happy to
announce that we have joined the Stinger Chassis racing family with the purchase of a 2007
Stinger chassis.  We are looking forward to running a Stinger Chassis this year, as Dave and
Diane Muller have been very helpful as we started our racing team. We also look forward to
working with them and the other Stinger chassis teams as we leave the competition in the dust.
Tiger Racing Team will open the 2007 in Harrisburg, Pa on February 17th and 18th during the
Motorama event. After this we will run a few events at Garden State before the 2007 season
starts at South Jersey in the end of April. Please check back as we will update the news page as
the season approaches and keep you up to date with what is going on at Tiger racing.
