The Tiger had a great run in the Turkey Derby Qualifying for both A mains. The finishes
weren't exactly what we were looking for but we finished 4th in Jr Honda and 8th in Jr
stock. It was a great car count for the Jr stock with 14 cars attempting qualifying.
Congrats to Jacob Nelke on his Jr stock and Jr. honda wins

June 2nd 2008
Light weekend of racing we only ran Friday night at SJQMA and took the rest of the
weekend off to recover from the long states race weekend and work on getting the
chassis business off and running. We are getting there the shop is finally organized
and we started making some components for the stinger chassis. As for Friday night
the tiger looked good and charged from the back to third and got a charging call trying
for second. She again worked her way to third after the restart and got passed
swapped positions with the fourth place car over the last couple laps and finished
fourth after getting passed on the last lap. The tiger won the JR stock race. This
weekend we will be back to double duty, Friday at SJQMA then on Sunday at BQMRC
for the opening round of the Ultimate Dirt Series. On Sunday the Tiger will run three
classes making her second start in the Lt. mod division.
May 24th 2008
Tiger racing team had a tough go at the 2008 Dirt States Race. After qualifying 12th in
the Jr. Honda we started on the pole in the C main but fell to third after a few laps.
While attempting to move back into second we spun out and sent to the rear. As we
tried coming through the field we got a charging call and went to the rear again.
Starting from the rear we passed a couple cars and had to stop to avoid a car broad
side on the track. This was our third DOT and ended our race in Jr. Honda. In Jr. Stock
we timed 2nd fast and started the A main in the third spot. On the start we got a
charging call and went to the rear. While coming through the field we got a second
charging call ending our race. We made our debut in the Lt. Mod division or at least
attempted to. We ran the car in practice and the Tiger loved it. She says its her new
favorite car because its fast. When it came time to race we couldn't get the car to start
so we failed to make the starting field. Well hopefully we will have better luck next
time out with the Lt. Mod. We plan on running it in several up coming shows.

Hope everyone is enjoying their winter and getting ready for the upcoming season.
Here at Tiger racing we are getting ready to attend the Motorama show in Harrisburg,
PA this weekend. We just returned home from the Ohio indoor winter nationals last
weekend. This was a third trip to Ohio this season and sadly our last for the winter.
They do have one more weekend of indoor racing left, but due to work we will be
unable to attend. Although the results don’t show it we had a great time racing out
there. The ride is long but well worth it. I feel we learned a lot that will help us in the
upcoming season on both asphalt and dirt. I know we had fun and that’s the important
thing. We look forward to racing out there again next winter.
We didn’t make it out of the C main in Jr. Honda and didn’t finish the JR stock B Main.
Dad made a major mistake with the Jr Stock that made it really hard drive and after we
got involved in a tangle that bent the left rear shock it was even worse to drive so we
decided to withdraw from the event.
This weekend we will travel out Harrisburg, PA to compete in the Motorama event. Last
year we had a good outing and hope for the same results this year. This year we will
compete in the JR. Honda and JR Stock classes. We hope to release a tentative
schedule shortly. This year however I’m not sure how well we will stick to that
schedule as we plan to evaluate the season as it goes and decide if we want to run
more asphalt shows then we have in the past so changes to the schedule maybe made
as the season progresses. We still plan to run weekly at our home track of South
Jersey. We are also planning on running in the Ultimate Dirt Series this year. Our main
goal is to make the Tiger better and build her confidence before we head to the 2008
Dirt Grands.

Happy New Year!  Its 2008 in just a few months the outdoor season will be upon us.  So
what does the Tiger racing team have in store for 2008? Over the winter and in
between indoor races we plan to tear down and rebuild each of the cars our motors
are all out at the respective engine builders getting rebuilt. We plan to open the
season with a couple of indoor shows in Columbus, OH as well as the Motorama show
in Harrisburg, Pa. After that we will await the spring thaw and the opening of the
outdoor tracks.
In 2008 we will again compete weekly in the JR. Honda division and the JR. Stock
division at various tracks in the area with South Jersey being our home track. This
year we again hope to compete on both asphalt and dirt tracks throughout the East
coast. In exciting news Tiger racing team plans to compete on a national level
traveling to Taylorville, IL to participate in the 2008 Dirt Grand’s. This will be our first
trip to a QMA grand’s event and we will go at it full force by running three different
classes.  Wow! You say what is the third class? Well also in exciting news Tiger racing
will be entering  select races in the Light Mod class, including the grand’s and states
race. At the completion of the year Tiger racing purchased a third Stinger chassis and
another stocker motor. Our old stocker engine will be prepared by Ledererr engines
to compete in the Light mod class. This will bring our stable of cars up to four, which
includes three Stinger chassis and our original Butler chassis has been redone and is
ready to go into action if the need should arise.  Our very last piece of exciting news
for 2008 is Tiger racing will switch from the number 02 to the number 15 on all our cars.
The Tiger has always wanted to drive the number 15 as does her Hero Donny Schatz of
the World of Outlaws, so dad has given in and will change the number.  Well with the
off season as busy as the regular season enough the news I have to get back to work
on the race cars. I hope everyone is enjoying their off season and we hope to see you
back at the track real soon. Please check back over the winter to see how the plans
are progressing.
