| Pedal to the Metal News 12-12-09 The Tiger Sweeps Jr Honda and Jr Stock at the Winternationals We did it we finnally got a 1st win at the Winternationals on Concrete and then followed it up with a 2nd win by winning the Jr. Stock A main. It almost didn't happen with the Jr Stock as we didn't take the green in the heat, again we traveled 9 hrs and couldn't get the motor to fire. We have to thank the Bustards and Pavels for their help with the Jr. Stock as we rewired the car completely and replaced the entire ignition system before the features. A sigh of relief was heard as we pushed of for the start. The Tiger worked traffic and was sitting second by mid race. After working the leader for a few laps she made her move and lead the rest of the way. In Jr. Honda we won from the 4th hole in the Heat putting us on the pole in the A main. The Tiger lead flag to flag for her 1st Ohio win. |

| Well with no racing going on to write about I want to take this opportunity to thank those that made this season a great success. I have to thank 1st of all our fellow racers and friends for all their help. Next our engine builders Jeff at Lederer Motors and Fred at Amain motors for providing superb horsepower to power us to the finish line each week. Most importantly I have to thank my Driver. We sat down at the beginning of the year and set several goals that you achieved most wins, a win on Asphalt, a Win in Ohio and a Grands championship. We only came up short on one the Grands championship, you more than made up for that by Qualifying for all three mains and finishing 2nd in the Jr. Stock Amain. Mostly I’m impressed with how much you’ve matured as a driver. Many days I didn’t give you the best car but you found a way to get it to victory lane by believing in yourself and driving with heart. Next year we are moving up to new classes and new challenges, but if you continue to believe you can win and drive with heart you’ll pick right up where you left off. You’re the best thank you for a dream season |
